Christian Counseling combines modern methods of counseling with Scriptural principles, using Biblical Truths as the reference point for integration. This model of therapy combines behavioral science with teachings found in scripture. This integration of scripture, science, & strategies – when purposefully & prayerfully practiced – can produce profound experiences in the counseling space. Expectations for positive, life-changing outcomes are based on the promises found in God’s word, promises to each of us He is faithful to keep.

The Bible gives clear instruction on proper thinking & the renewed mind: “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, & acceptable, & perfect, will of God” (Rom 12:2). When our minds are renewed & fixed on higher thoughts – solution-focused, constructive thoughts – intrusive, negative, “stinking thinking” is elbowed out. Renewed thought makes possible the integration of conduct and character that glorifies God, practices Biblical faith, values moral truth, and reflects the virtues of a relationship with God the Father, in Christ Jesus, and through the Holy Spirit.
