At Brightleaf, our mission is to help individuals & families discover strength for today & bright hope for tomorrow by providing effective & affordable counseling services & supports. Matt Lambeth 2023

Matt Lambeth is Brightleaf’s owner & primary therapist. Matt was born & raised in the Piedmont, & has been counseling individuals & families since 2008. Matt obtained master’s degrees in Substance Abuse & Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University, & holds licenses in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (LCMHC), Clinical Addictions (LCAS), & Clinical Supervision (CCS, LCMHCS). In recovery himself since 2005, Matt’s practice is informed by lived experience & a genuine belief in clients’ abilities to improve “how they are” by discovering “who they are” – capable, resourceful, & most of all loved by God.

Clinical Supervision

As a Clinical Manager & Program Supervisor of large, interdisciplinary teams, Matt Lambeth has assisted clinicians in obtaining & maintaining their clinical licenses & certifications for the past ten years. He is a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS# 12469) & Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS# S9054).
